Douglas Fir:
The heartwood is a light reddish brown, and the contrast between early and late wood provide a prominent growth ring figure which shows as an abrupt colour contrast on plain sawn timber and rotary cut veneers. Used extensively in heavy construction, and high grade lumber and plywood often used in architectural millwork.

Sizes: 4/4, 6/4, 8/4, 12/4, flat grain and vertical grain in a wide variety of grades. Custom cut sizes and lengths also available.

Pine / Western White:
The heartwood is a pale straw colour, only slightly darker than the wide summerwood, and the colour tone varying from straw to reddish. It is light weight, straight grained and easily worked with carpentry tools. Used in structural applications, windows, door frames, paneling and shelving.

Yellow Cedar:
The heartwood is a pale yellow colour and has a fine even texture and is straight grained. Used for exterior furniture, joinery and decorative architectural millwork applications.

Sizes: 8/4 B & Btr grain. Custom cut sizes and lengths also available.

Red Cedar:
Straight grained, smooth texture with a prominent growth ring figure. The heartwood shows considerable colour variation when fresh cut, from a dark chocolate frown to a salmon pink colour, maturing down to a sliver grey - this weathered appearance sometimes sought by architects.

Eastern White Pine:
The heartwood colour varies from pale straw to light reddish brown. It is soft, straight grained and very even textured wood with inconspicuous growth rings, used extensively for furniture where appearance grade knots are desired.

Sizes: 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 8/4 furniture grade (tight knots)
